Well, the focus of Tapastic is on their comics. If you don't search by yourself, your novel gets buried, and you only get to find it by self-promoting it. Places like Scribble Hub and Royal Roaf focus on novels in the genres of high fantasy, adventure, Isekai, Litrpg, systems, so basically your genre, etc... When you are new, your novel is pushed to the front to everybody see it once it gets approved. Every time you update, your story will be featured in the "recent updates," too. The forums are way more friendly than this one, and even the moderator gives you a walkthrough on publishing your story and the best practices you can do to get readers.
If you are not good at keeping track (coming from an adult with severe ADHD), your best friends are alarms and reminders on the calendar on your phone. Cross-post on all the platforms on the same day. Do review swap and focus on each of their forums, for example, Monday on Tapas, Tuesday on Scribble Hub, and Wednesday on Royal Road. Let know your readers with a friendly message that you will reply to them as fast as you can because you cross-post your story. And remember, the most important thing is not to let others discourage you for your weakness, don't feel pressured, and enjoy what you are doing.
Note: Just in case, take all of this with a grain of salt. This is just my opinion. You are not obligated to do anything I wrote
