Currently I am a freelance artist, because I lost my job at a museum because of covid. I worked in the arts and crafts workshop, where I helped kids make art. I had great co-workers who were just as artsy as they were smart. It we had amazing conversions about engineering, electrical stuff, drones, culture, history, mythology, and more. It was fantastic, and we all helped teach other things while we were working. I think one of the funniest parts of the job, was that our badges let us have access to pretty much the whole building ,with clearance that some managers didn't even have. XD We were also allowed to use the lazer cutter, sample cutter, vacuum former and other machines that the museum had available. (provided you were were trained on how to use it)
other jobs: Phone person at a pizza place (I really hated that job, hell know no wrath of a woman's scorn, but God so help me is a food order gets mess up." People are really mean for no reason.), grocery clerk, Summer help at a window and door factory.
Aa far as my job relates to my comic. Um, I think it related to the freelancing bit more that the other jobs. But, since I lost my job,my comic is the one thing that helps keep me sane. XD In a matter of speaking. But, I did talk about it a lot with my co-workers, and we even threw around ideas for it. My comic was created for my senior thesis (that I wanted to invite my co-workers to, but 2020 killed a lot of events) and I have kept working on it. I am really passionate about my story, and it had helped me not only learn about real world magic, but I have also find that it is teaching me things about myself.
