Delay Announcement Thread?

Should we have a thread on the forum about delays of an upcoming page?

I'm sure many of us want to finish those pages earlier and post them but sometimes a page can take a bit longer to finish, life happens and/or other reasons that sometimes are beyond people's control.

It would be nice to have that especially if there are dedicated readers to a certain series and it could be an understandable thing.

Would that be a good idea?

I don't think it would be effective as a forum thread. Most of my readers aren't on the forums. If I was to announce a delay of my next update here on the forum, probably about ten of my readers would see it here, and the others would have no idea.

I think posting on your wall to notify your readers, or even posting an "episode" that is an in-progress shot with a notification of the delay (which is can then delete later if you want), are both more effective at actually reaching your readers than posting on the forums.

FYI, wall posts don't appear on the app, which is where most of the readers are.
