Hey, there! Depression's a bitch, ain't it? Excuse my language, I try not to cuss on here, but come on, tell me I'm wrong lol
I'm somewhat similar with the exception of art as I'm a writer and a musician. A lot of my music was fueled by depression and uhhh, as good as I think the songs may be when they were done like that, I do not wanna go back that headspace to fuel what I'm creating now lol while I think it's great to have an outlet like making comics or music out of it, I'd advise not staying there for such an extended amount of time. There's only so long a person should have to keep feeling sad for the sake of creating something, you know?
Give yourself a chance to write something positive and happy whenever you can, even if it's out of your comfort zone. See it all the way through, and you'll find that it's a different type of rewarding compared to when you finish something so inspired by sad feelings. Though maybe I'm a bad example, I intentionally make myself sad to write sad scenes in the stuff I write.. most of which falls under drama in some way.
ANYWAYS, you're definitely not alone, we got a few sad bois and girls and everyone else in between lying around in the community, join the club. What the hell am I saying? I am all over the place xD
Welcome to the community, dang it! We're glad to have you here!
