i can't say for sure that my book has a song to describe it to be honest, or idk a lot of songs to help me with it.
but this song resembles two of my characters' relationship.
Honestly, Billie Eilish would have been a pick by so many of her songs, but Noah has this great song too that catches well with my main character.
This song has been stuck in my head non-stop since I started revisiting Vehementia. It's a really cathartic piece of music and it reminds me of a therapist consoling a patient with deep trauma, or even a person telling themselves it's going to be okay. When I listen to it, I feel like everything is going to be okay, even if there is still some pain lingering inside me.
This is a action/fantasy/adventure novel in the world of Catmen; Obbisia. It is a whole new world to discover (like Lord of the Rings) with forest, cities, pubs and a lot more like Meow.
Anything goes in a way you not be expected, in a way your whiskers will be satisfied, for this story is so purrfect.
I'd describe my novel with this song, The Essence of Silence - Epica. I honestly can't say why because it's massive spoilers XD.
So have another song that fits my novel, Poison - Alice Cooper
mine is probably best summed up with the gambler by fun:
Mine is a non-fiction reviewing novel
This one, I Am a Survivor
for my story!
There’s a couple songs I cold go with but this one stands out for whatever reason
It's a little on the nose, but this is the one that comes to mind
Ooooh, the music I was listening to when I started writing this book played such a huge part in my process of figuring out the story; I have a ton of good examples. I'll just give two of the most relevant ones.
Bjork - Joga
And specifically, the cover of it by Ane Brun:
And to spice the ending up:
Bitterswet Symphony by the Verve:
Oh I remember Bittersweet Symphony! I like it, it’s just been forever since I’ve heard it!
@Memento_Mori I love Jared Dines
There is one absolutely perfect song for Birth of a Sin:
Though Taylor Swifts original lyrics with a female-centered perspective matches the characters, this heavier, faster, and darker version (with guttural screams) matches the themes of the story.
Something tells me I’ll need my headphones for this song
Ah, its one of my favorites too haha!
Less Than
So many memories from Mr. Reznor's concerts, so many injuries, ha! Paladium in LA - the best.
I agree with you on this for yours.
I think for my doodle comic, it would be Lovestory by Taylor Swift and We didnt start the fire by Billy Joel XD.
