Hmm, I guess my comic is closest in content to old school stuff like Snoopy and Garfield. There's a funny little central character who shouldn't normally talk (or exist frankly) and some of the action comes from what they are and some of the action comes from their various eccentricities.
I didn't do this on purpose but I did read this stuff obsessively when I was like six or seven so I do probably owe Schultz and Davis a debt somewhere. Hey, you can't fault a classic.
My artwork is a bit Nick Sharratt. This time I know it's a coincidence because I know I drew like that before I even touched a Jacqueline Wilson book. However, a love of writers like Wilson, Dahl, Milligan (and so on) probably encouraged me. I might have dropped that drawing style otherwise.
