Did Tapas shadowban my comic from the action popular tab on the mobile app?

So I just found out that the action popular tabs are different for me depending on whether you visit the site or the mobile app. I can find my comic on the popular tab for action (website version) with a bit of scrolling:

And that's fine, my comic is able to be found in the tab. But when I do the same thing on the mobile app it's nowhere to be found. And I wonder why? My comic isn't nsfw.

I'm not angry or anything, just confused
But it does hurt a bit considering a lot of potential readers use the mobile app and possibly being removed from there is a bit harmful

I have a feeling that the app and the site are operating with different algorithms. My place in the Action ranking is generally different between the two, and I can be trending on one but not the other sometimes as well. There's also a variance in the delay between getting likes and moving up the popular ranking.
Maybe more transparency from Tapas on how this works would be nice for the smaller creators who tend to yo-yo violently up and down the rankings.

I watched the novels algos carefullly for about 6 months, you're right, they are definitely different between app and desktop. From what I can tell, in the app, completed works are prioritized very significantly so they always sit a the top. That's why we always have the same few titles in the Trending front page on the app (at least for novels, as there aren't a lot of completed novels that continue getting a lot of interaction).

I think certain genres are also prioritized differently.

Also, for some reason in trending, you're likely to rank higher in the rankings when premium works are included vs when you're on the free to read tab. Can't explain that...

I just put a big long response to Kate, but basically, you're not shadowbanned, things are just weighted differently in the app. It's pretty obvious that desktop is more reflective of actual interaction and app is weighted to boost certain things (like completed works).

I'm often top free popular novel on desktop, but have to scroll for ages to find myself in the app. I've just accepted it. At least desktop readers will see me easily!
