I had this crazy thought for killing people!
Your cells produce electricity that allows your brain to give commands and essentially powers your body. So what if, your body's electricity was used as a battery to power something else and you just had all your energy drained from you before you could die of starvation or thirst.
Now, for starters, the human body wouldn't be a very effective battery. That depends on what the human is doing at the time and how many calories they have consumed in order to produce energy. Even still, it would be a very strange way to go.
There have been cases of characters in stories having their "life force" drained, and I guess this is kind of just that but with a more realistic explanation. I mostly just thought of this because I started thinking of how the human body actually produces electricity and runs on it like a machine and how we are in reality really complex machines. And since we can be overloaded with electricity, surely we can be drained of it as well.
You kind of get that with hunger and thirst, but that's more of losing the ability to produce more electricity and doesn't quite give that draining feeling I'm thinking of. Like losing consciousness, but permanently. I'd imagine it feels tingly in a cold way, little by little losing your senses, maybe losing your ability to access your memories as well, everything begins to feel surreal, like a dream. And like that, as if you were never there, you're gone...
I could write a whole book about my weird thoughts about electricity. That stuff's real wacky.
I think way too much about how characters can die to the abilities I come up with, so Idk who needs this crackhead science, but they're out there. Thanks for sitting through all that, just thought I'd share, goodbye.
