I just finished doing it for chapter 1 of my comic: https://tapas.io/episode/2779645

I did it mainly so the initial pages would be more attractive to new readers, I am planning on posting on webtoons. Now I want to do something about the following chapters, but not a full redraw...

Did you go through this too? Did you find it was worth the effort?

I'm in the process of redoing my Episode 1. I'm about halfway through the sketches at this point, just working on it when I have the spare time and energy.

For me, it'll be worth it. Mine is not just a visual update - it'll establish a better tone, better pacing, and give readers a better sense of what my MC's personality is like when he's not enormously stressed.

Also, I changed the colour of his whole dang spaceship in my most recent episode, so now I have to go back and update all the other episodes to make them match.

For my series, https://tapas.io/series/sisefi1 , I changed some panels in first chapter when I was moving from inkblazers to tapastic. Nothing much changed, just correcting anathomy and composition.

I was actually really tempted to redraw most of the chapters when I came back from my hiatus in August (... after 3 years of break) but just decided to continue where I left it.

I re-wrote and -drew my comic's first chapter because it was a complete disaster lol. I gave it better pacing, shortened it and updated the art. Now I'm stuck with a chapter and a half I'm not fully satisfied with but it would be too much work to re-draw them as well.

But I'm glad that I did remake it because it's so much better than what I had previously and even if my readers don't care I did and it bothered me so much I had to do something about it. Now I don't feel anxiety when people check out the first few pages of my comic
