Disabled comics creators!

Hey! I'm curious if there are other comics creators here who are disabled as well. I'd love to meet you all, and feel free to share comics you are creating!

I'm deaf and use ASL to communicate. I am creator of The Satrians and What QQ. Both can be found on here!

I have two auto immune disorders (lupus and sjogren's syndrome) so my immune system that is SUPPOSED to protect me effectively sees parts of my body that are supposed to be there as the enemy, and attacks and destroys it, because of that I now have arthritis and can barely walk anymore (if I want to leave the house, I need to do so in a wheelchair) it also makes it very painful to draw and I am slowly losing my ability to do so.

I've got high level Autism.
It doesn't quite hinder me in the art and story department of being a creator, but it does cause me to get frustrated and depressed faster and easier, which basically means I can't handle harsh, negative comments very well.
I make Legend of John the Parakeet and Wognified.

My boyfriend (writer) has X linked retinitus pigmentosa. The layman's version of the condition means it is an inherited genetic condition that will cause his sight to slowly degrade to the point of total blindness. He's already lost his peripheral and has a form of tunnel vision. It can make communication on visual details difficult at times. We work on Bumbleberry Pie.

Ah cool I have some deaf friends who have Ushers Syndrome which has both deafness and retinitis pigmentosa. My character Dion from The Satrians has a tunnel vision as well.

im mentally ill and autistic. the mental illness stuff reeeeeally gets in the way of the comic :/

I have Aspergers with major depression and anxiety.
when I was younger my anxiety lead to selective mutism for a couple of years starting around age (five?) till age eight.

I get frustrated with myself often and I haven't told 90% of my friends or family that I was diagnosed with it yet.
To be honest I'm kind of afraid to.

I've got severe hyperacusis, which basically means my ears are extremely vulnerable to sound. Because of it I'm housebound. I have to hide in my room for 22-23 hours a day and can only talk for about 0-90 minutes daily depending on how my ears are doing. I have some unknown problem with my hands so I can't draw more than about an hour and a half each day, and have to use a head tracker for most other computer use like typing. I also have bursitis so I can't sit, stand or walk for very long. There's other stuff too, but those are the most significant physical problems.

These together are devastating. It's so hard to cope when I can do so little. Writing takes so much effort I can't even make friends on the internet. As such I run away to the magical worlds of my comics for as much as I can each day and try to constantly distract myself from how miserable I am otherwise.

I have Asperger's Syndrome, it actually helps with making comics. I narrow my focus on the task what must be done. It's almost obsessive so that is why I have to a normal comic and a gag comic to balance those two out so I don't burn out from one of them.

I've in recent years developed arthritis and it's doing the same to me (I'm no where near the level you are yet) but if you ever feel like complaining to someone who understands the pain feel free to message.

I have Ulcerative Colitis, which can cause multiple inflammatory conditions. Right now, I have problems with my neck, which is causing pressure in the upper chest and head area. I am housebound and have to watch my activities to avoid strokes and TIA conditions. TIA are no fun as I already had one confirmed one that started me not being able to work. Currently working on my Doctorate to teach at least part time. I do have an technical education in computers and networks, but Factor 2 blood disorder that caused clots needs to be controlled with Coumadin for the rest of my life, which means I can bleed very easily. Before that, I have a fifty percent loss of hearing from when I was born.

I am the primary artist and author of Fiery Soul. it is a project I started about a year or so ago. Although I am continuing my education, it can lead to burn out if that is my only focus. Therefore, I tell stories. I use CG tools to compensate for drawing skills, which would be a problem because my hands tremor. I am thinking of getting a tablet, but the tremors can make painting hair a little troublesome. The story delves into an urban fantasy, which the main female lead is the Fiery Soul. Rather than willing fire to be creating, she is fire. She collects ambient fiery energy and manipulates it. I have Fae, Therianthropes, Pwcca, and a rogue government agent who thinks magic is evil. I also put in some social commentary about events and stuff that bug me about society.
