I find the traditional comic method to be quite expressive. The scroll type can convey the same emotions if its in the right hands.

I liked how uninformed the children's commentary but, nethertheless it was quite funny to read. Although it would have been cool if you drew some of panels in that style. If you did draw these please disregard what I said. Here's my comic, "My Lost Heart" After being rejected by his childhood frie…

I really liked the story Keiva's struggles and self hatred is quite sad. However, her characterization and clever paneling kept me reading until the end. Here's my comic which is also a short story entitled My Lost Heart What I loved about: I liked the main character and support characters rela…

I mainly listen to music from video games and anime while I am working. Some of my favorites being Persona 5, Baten Kaitos Origins, Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 and Gundam Unicorn.

I like the premise so far where someone who sacrificed their life to their faith receives punishment. Its someone a strong parellel to how they feel deep inside sometimes. Well, this is based on the premise but, we have no in-story evidence of his good nature. Maybe having one frame showing a bag of…

I wouldn't completely scrap this bigger comic, I would put on hold to make short stories. I have made two myself and its a completely different experience. It will definitely put you writing skills to the test and you can finish it in a reasonable amount of time.

I post on both Tapas and Webtoons, though I feel Tapas is more friendly and it easier to interact with your audience and self promote. You are free to try both I post on numerous sites such as Tapas, Smackjeeves, Webtoons, and Comicfury. The choice is up to you but if you want a supportive commun…

I will throw my hat into the discussion and contribute a few names. Out of the Blue (sorry this was only one I could think of for blue) Gray-Sight As Black as Night White-Hearted One Brown and Dull

I will recommend Sideways by Scribble Jay. It whimsical comic that starts on a bit slow but seeing the unique world and charming characters is worth the wait.

There are two things I overthink about the story of my comic and how I am going to execute it. I think about whether certain details in the plot make sense or whether or not it will portray the feeling I want for that particular scene. I even think far into a comic's story evening thinking on how to…

I was talking about comics. I did read the prologue of Relative, it brilliantly used the webcomic's scrolling format. I liked when the main character said everything went black and you added a gradient to extenuate that point. I like the way you draw the hair it has a certain sketchy look to it. I a…

If I may ask, could I see some of your art if you have it posted here?

I had the same dream of becoming a famous comic artist when I first started. When I started posting and even to this day I struggle to garner and attention online. What I have learned as I continue my life as a comic artist is no idea is original but its how its executed and how you make the comic y…

I recently finished my second story "My Lost Heart" and started to post it here on Tapas. If you read my comic I will definitely read your comic in return. After being rejected by his childhood friend, Montague feels lost until he has an unexpected encounter.

@tired_programmer I like the relationship dynamic between the killer and hacker where they are both fighting for dominance. Although your poses look stiff mainly in the action scenes where the characters are attacking one another. You would have them more sloughed over and bend their legs more to ad…

I feel more inclined to the opposite, the more positive elements draw me in more especially characters who are good at heart. Though I like a little cynicism ever now and then but, only if its in good fun.

My previous attempts at constructing a short story always end up ballooning into something alot bigger like what you stated. I will keep that in mind the next time, captions I believe looking back at this story are more appropriate for longer stories. I can admit I think I would have put in a little…

Could you be a little more specific on thing I should improve on, just so I know how to better my comics in the future. Also I somewhat got the same vibe from my story when I started writing it.

I definitely like the paneling in your its very creative and creates a sense of motion. The art style does remind me of American comics but it fits the ordinary world Des comes from. As opposed to the new kid he looks like he is from a cartoon which is a nice stylistic touch. I can't wait to see ho…

I don't think you have to have romance or smut to make a good story. You have to have compelling character and a good story to go with it. You can have a little romance here and there but, only if you want to have it there. Besides at the end of the day people ship character because their interactio…

You comic has an interesting world and plenty of interesting stories can be born from it. Its a nice mesh of fantasy (the smog) and scifi (the Ultra Gear) One piece of advice is to make your own font for the logo so it gives your comic its own identity instead of using the font from the Metal gear s…

I like how in the second update you showed the creation of the character from a stick figure. I almost like seeing someone naked by accident. Though your more self conscious character won't appreciate that... I wonder what this comic could be about, I can't tell what it maybe about right now.

I am usually the worst critic when it comes to my work so I have to make sure I don't let myself down XD I also am working on a re imagining of a comic I made back in 2015. This is the only comic that kept reoccurring in my thoughts like it was begging me to bring it back.

I believe the mindset of all artist looking back at their first comic : / Although no idea is truly original, it depends on its execution.

I remember reading your comic a month or two ago. Though I didn't know the origin of the comic was so dark. You don't have to finish that comic if it makes you feel uncomfortable. I believe the thing about horror is it shouldn't make the creator uncomfortable. As you read at the top of this thread I…

He better be careful with Claudia or you might jump into the comic and give him the "talk" XP

Alright, I'm looking forward to it. Also if its not too much to ask would you mind taking a look at my comic as well?

Do you have any of them posted anyway, I would like to see them if you would let me.

I was wondering if anyone else has ever wrote a comic based on a feeling they had initially made a comic? I did with my comic "My Hollow Heart". I was feeling alone at the time and it made it harder to work on my main comic and even this side comic. I pushed through so I can tell the message this co…

I think you should keep going, I was stuck in the redo loop for so long well, for me it was more or less bettering the story. However, my latest comic is a redo of a 2015 comic I made but, I only returned to this comic after I had 2 years of lackluster comics . This 2015 comic kept coming back into …
