I have Java Edition on my computer.

I've been playing minecraft for almost half my life! My main platform is Pocket Edition! I started playing around 11 on mobile. Back when there was no nether, no caves and the only passive mobs were cows, chickens, pigs and sheep. Its amazing how much PE has advanced into becoming not only a one to one of the PC port but also its own platform

used to play java a lot when i was younger then took a pause after a bunch of tech issues but i'm looking to hop back into bedrock now that i've got a device that can handle it i've just gotta get a new mouse since playing with a trackpad is hard

my biggest hope is that i can copy the worlds i had from another computer to this one but it's been ages since i've gone so far as to floof around with files otherwise i'll have to build my silly little city/village from scratch again (which kinda sucks coz i can't remember for the life of me how i made half of my redstone door contraptions)

i will say all the changes and new mobs and locations in the more recent version has absolutely blown me out of the water but i'm hoping i can learn and adapt to it all and find ways to make it work for me (the nether wood stuff esp looks super neat) and maybe one of these days i actually go through to fight the nether dragon the honest way

my best friend and I return to it every few years. We keep saying we'll beat the game, but we end up distracted with building automatic farms and catching cats instead. We have an inside joke that it's our longest coop session.

I used to be a lot of Minecraft a couple years back, I don't anymore since the person I play with doesn't want to play. So Minecraft is just sitting there staring back at me as I stare back. Thankfully I did get to experience the caves and cliffs update, those were cool things to explore.

I hope that in a couple years I get to play Minecraft again with that person.

Yup, still play. Was just in it last night, trying out some architectural ideas. (I'm more of a crafter and builder than a 'fight monsters and raid dungeons' type.) We actually have a household server that the four of us all play on.

Oh yes, its a bit of an addiction lol. I started playing back in the beta version of PE where all you could do was walk around and punch trees LOL, I was very young at the time too so it's been something I've enjoyed a majority of my life. I remember when they added glass, I thought it was the coolest thing ever haha. I just played the other day. I've played probably every single addition on every single platform from PE to Xbox 360 to VR. It's just an easy way for me to shut my brain off for a couple hours lol

I played quite a bit of Minecraft back around 2012/2013, mods like Minez and FTB. I'm sure it's changed a lot since then lol.

i actually re-downloaded the game fairly recently and honestly got blown away once again with all the changes (new mobs, biomes, animals and items for crafting) and eventually just got overwhelmed. I will say it's super cool seeing just how much the game has grown and evolved but there's also so much more to take in now than there used to be.

I think if i ever do consider playing again i'd prefer it to be with a friend or something so i don't get lost or lonesome

definitely miss using it for room reference or inspiration coz even if it's just blocks it's good for roughing out the basic concepts
