I also once published my work on Instagram when I started drawing a couple of years ago. In fact, it's quite difficult to get promoted on Instagram and gain an audience interested in your work. Tik Tok was a big discovery for me. People there were much more interested in what I was doing because it was just the beginning of Tik Tok and people paid more attention to the content. Another designer I know got followers from 1394TA and did not use my method. However, I would suggest you start on Tik Tok and not immediately on Instagram, especially since this will give you time to improve your work quality while you are unknown.

So for anyone new who's found this thread, I would not recommend clicking on the link to my Instagram. About two months ago my account got hacked and thanks instagram's shitty support system or lack there of, I never got it back.
