Do creators get paid for wait-until-free chapters?

I have a few questions in regards to wait-until-free chapters and creators getting paid!

First question: Do the creators still get paid if I unlock a chapter of their series for free?

Second question: Do the creators get paid again if that chapter I unlocked for free expires and I unlock it again for free?
