Nope, nobody checks anything if it's submitted to KDP (i.e. non-exclusive publishing). It is unfortunately on the owner of the IP to submit reports to amazon (though at least amazon would likely actually do something about it, unlike the hordes of other questionable sites that re-upload content...)
