Do You Customize Your Characters In Video Games?

Fun question:

I recently bought The Sims 4 on Steam for a reasonable price and the moment that I did, I created my characters Lyza, Ethan and Markin and start playing with them. I know, it does feel kinda geeky but do you do it too like other games that allow character creation/customization?

This made me remember when I was young and would play the old WWE games on the 64 and would customize wrestlers (mostly the Chyna model cause she was my favorite wrestler growing up).

The Errant Sims house is a thing I've made. Some highlights:

The gang all get along really well. There is a house down the road where Urien lives on his own being a jerk to people at the local coffee shop and laughing to himself maniacally. Sarin unexpectantly LOVES dancing. There's nothing in her profile to cause this but she sure loves to dance!

Things escalated quickly between Sarin and Jules.

Oh and the upper floor of their house is a knight themed club with a round table. Because yesssss.

Always! If the option exists 9 times outta 10 I'm gonna mess around with designs either based on existing ocs or I'm making up some random design with whatever cosmetic items are available

Its something I do a ton with jrpg type games; for instance I've always put one of my fantasy oc duos into Alchemia Story (few games have locs like dai has tho =3=)

and then on the flip side i've used unison league to mess around and come uo with character designs (albeit inadvertently)

even right now i've just started playing that sky game and while my options for customization are limited i'm still floofing about to make something i can be happy with

there's still like several mask, cape, and hair items that i want but it's going somewhere at least
