Do You Feel The App’s New Design Has Helped Make Things Better For Novels Or Worse Or About The Same?

I’ve been away from Tapas for a few months, and been debating whether to continue my novels here. I think I do want to, but recently saw the big update to the app, and the new layout, and was wondering if it had made things better or not? More community driven and giving more exposure to novels or is it still the same or even worse? Any thoughts?

Update Announcement
Hello Tapas Community!

As you may have noticed, this past week the Tapas App underwent a visual change on the premium side. The homepage on the app has gotten a makeover and looks super cool! There’s a new home tab, new comics tab, new novels tab, and search by genre feature. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, please do so and keep an eye out for community Early Access series and Tapas Original Series!

Now, what about Community? The Community section on the app remains the same, our Community Tab is here to stay! However, in the upcoming days we highly encourage you to check out the website…there’ll be a pretty big shift in what’s featured on the landing page, https://tapas.io/.

As we venture into these new changes, please know that we will continue to work to support Tapas Community! Please keep an eye out for future community events, updates, and opportunities.

I’m hopeful we’ll continue to see changes that help highlight the community works including novels. I’m not sure but maybe there will be a way to make it to the landing page someday?

It would be nice to see the same Comic/Novel toggle button someday make its way to the community tab. I think it’s a little too early to say for sure what changes will come though.

Sorry for the off topic reply but when I saw the screenshots circulating I didn't know it was Tapas if I didn't read the caption or look at the image carefully. The dominance of the purple color, and lack of the yellow threw me off. It feels like it was another app.

Also it seems like, as addressed in this thread, community content is pushed even further in the app (they try to make community content appears more in desktop as a consolation prize, better than nothing maybe)
