I have some stuffed animals: a glittery penguin, a pikachu, a dratini, Bowser, and a beanie baby.

These days, I mostly collect things like standees, key chains, and pins. I'd love to get some figures, but shelf space is limited, so... I'm focused on filling my cork board right now.

I don´t know if you guys have Kinder chocolate in your country
and also don´t know if you guys have Playmobil toys.

I loved Playmobil as a kid and everybody loves Kinder Überraschungsei (surprise)

These are a few of em from a container in my room-
I'm deffo not the best caretaker n all of em seen better days lol
All of them are over 15+ years ago
Some of em lost their wepons n accessories too

Have some 12 inch figures, tried to make some customs out of em
Stuck weave on a Gijoe's head to make a samurai dude and kungfu master (clothes were from online)
The muscle boi with redpants: stuck a ken doll head n tried to sew some pants and gloves (withered over time)
Only the ninja isn't a custom, he had some cool armor but it broke apart

Sure, it hasn’t really aged well for me with the blatant orientalist stuff, but I still love it. It’s good to acknowledge it and learn from it. But it’s Disney.

@abigaillmartin yhep youre seeing correct XD Same Aladdin was fave as a kid (just couldnt get rid of those) have Jafar too but he dissapeared into the void somewhere lol, my classmates used to tell me I look like Aladdin which was cool n dressed as him for haloween a few times, would love to go to a convention as him sometime too.
Seems these days the Animated Sleeping Beauty and Snowhite took the spot -for the vintage/gloomy ambience and also bec of watching so many vids of the Viral Evil Queen roasting ppl lol

The oriental stuff never bothered me much, although I did remem in the series they ate pepperoni or something XD
Guess it happened across countries, similar to when non-Americans and Anime make American stereotype characters lol True guess with internet and 1st hand exposure to diff cultures people learning more about eachother

I loved Aladdin too as a kid but of course as a kid you don’t really notice these things until you grow up.

But it’s all part of growing up and learning!

@stiatent now that you mention Sleeping Beauty that was my favorite growing up! I always loved the three fairies they’re literally the best! I love how cute and funny they are and how cool they are too in aiding Prince Phillip
The cake scene is also amazing!

My aunt dressed up as Maleficent for Halloween a couple years ago and it was really cool! She rocked it!

I watched Snow White by myself because it’s such a beautiful film. It’s a masterpiece of course. Also I relate to Snow White the most because she’s so cute and so kind to everyone around her. And of course the scene with the Queen giving her the poison apple it shows that kindness can be taken advantage of which unfortunately is something I deal with a lot. She is also small too so that helps. It’s easy to make fun of her because the movie is very old and I get it, but I think she’s a very cute character.

I am a huge fan of animation especially hand drawn. I could gush all day about classic Disney movies! Eee!

Yea the three fairies are awesome cake scene was amazing, also how they fought over the dress color too and was cool how they aided Prince Philip and the epic dragon transformation!.
I wonder if the Disney Production staff were as undecided with character colors as I am and couldnt decide her dress color lol

Yea they did such a perfect job capturing Snow white's purity and naivety. Yea unfortunately 'being too kind' get taken advantage of as you rightfully say, I guess is to find that middle ground where you can remain your kind self without being taken advantage of . And her cute look was a perfect fit, meanwhile the Queen was a bombshell but lacked the 'kind heart' to be 'truly fairest of them all'.
And thinking about it Snow White would likely still hold no grudge against the Queen to this day lol: love seeing how the themepark Snow White remains cute, oblivious and loving to her stepmother while the Viral Queen remains shady towards her lol XD

Yea I do, but gave most away over the years and others broke lightsabers etc. The only one I still have is a Micro Diarama that's in a box somewhere. I'mma find it n take a pic when i get a chance. Was a fan of Vader and Darth Maul so most were based on them.

My lightsaber and my Star Wars action figures are at home with my family. My siblings have so many Star Wars Lego sets and my mom has some too. She loves Star Wars and was actually born the year the first one came out in 1977.

Me and my brother would always reenact our favorite scenes from the original and prequels. My favorite was always the “I am your father”

I played Yoda, Obi Wan and Darth Vader and my brother would be Luke. We had to play many roles since it was just the two of us

Having the original trilogy on blue ray was always so amazing!
I grew up watching the animated Clone Wars series as well and my favorite character is Ahsoka
I have a Funko pop bobble head of her somewhere I just need to find it.

I also had some Star Wars tsumtsums from the original trilogy but I don’t know where they all went but they were so cute! I got it for my birthday one year. I think my 15th or 18th. I don’t remember but either way it was a lovely surprise from my mom.

Besides Houdini, I think Star Wars still remains one of my biggest obsessions. It has been since I was 10 and will forever remain one.

Now to draw Houdini if he was in Star Wars. If he’s near any Jawas he’s going be thinking they’re worshipping him because they say his name so much! 🤭

yea had similar memories too, re-enacting starwars with my brother and friends for as long as I can remember, that's awesome your mom is a starwars fan too, it was also my parents who introduced us althoough my brother and i turned out to be more fans, they were more into detective and westerns n stuff. The OG and Prequels are my fave also, mando and rogue 1 are the only ones i enjoyed from the recent ones.

I always wanted to see Clone Wars, always heard it was a fan favourite n got to see it sometime. Enjoyed the 2d cartoon one too but forgot the series name, where General Grevious fought all the Jedi.
Right there with ya, fave line is also the I am your father, and speakin of which the micro figure playset is based on that environment when they fought. More reason to find it now n take some photos for this thread lol

Yea always sucks when you lose things over the years and fun surprise expecially with your mom sharing in the fandom too
