Do You Have a "Theme Music Power-up" For Your Hero(es)?

You know that track that kicks off when the hero or heroes start kicking ass against a tough villain?

It intensifies when the hero is overcoming the villain and it happens in Anime, movies, cartoons etc..., it's total hype and gets the reader or watcher fired up to see the protagonist finally win.

From when I was a child to this day, this my favorite cliche ever and music sure make scenes more awesome.

My pick's this song by the Japanese trio Sokoninaru in the same year that my story's taking place in. The lyrics seem somewhat relevant to my second protagonist (judging from a Google translation anyways, could be wrong for all I know). Regardless, if the scenes were animated and I had an option of putting in an existing song, this would be it. High-energy, precise playing, and emotional when it needs to be, it's perfect for me lol

Very slow, sad and emotional to begin with, but once he’s got his shi- together he’s going to fight, and he’s give it all he’s got.

Shoot to Thrill is my absolute headcanon for Andrew whenever he has epic moments. I also pictured Hell's Bells being used whenever he shows his dark side... buuuut then this came around just now:

Yeah, I usually tend to imagine music from anime. If I had to guess I'd say I imagine an epic theme for my character and whenever I think about something epic, I think about Attack on Titan's OST

3:27 would be a moment when he totally goes feral mode and powers up.

Aaargh. This is a tough one. There's so many songs I think of for Rip powering up, and usually it's on an episode by episode basis.

But here's a classic one that I've gone back to over and over through the years. Iron Savior just has these wailing whammy divebombs that feel like how I imagine Rip's power exploding.

I shared the one for Andrew, but since Danivere's name was inspired by RHCP's Dani California and the fact it's such a good song makes it work as Dani's theme

It'd change per character in Splitting Image, but I'll stick to two. For my protagonist Mortimer, easily the second half of Out of Tartarus, right at the 3 minute mark. It was the song that way back in the game's reveal that gave me the right ideas for the characters, and to this day and I can picture Mort dropping his cautious act to end the fight masterfully when the guitar starts.

Veriesin has a much more specific one, which very much would be for the moment she's truly focused to fight and turn the tables. even though in Promare it's a theme for a losing battle that's barely averted but shhh
