I think this guy will become popular:

Why?
First of all, this is my assistant's favorite character. And all my friends' favorite character.
He is kind and a little naive. He also has a cool coat.

You can read my comic here: Vyun, Kosmeya and a Witch's Curse

In my first book, there's a character named Kael. He's the golden sunshine that light up the mood around. He's the self-proclaimed big brother of our protagonist.
Later he became very obsessive and protective of our protagonist. Despite knowing that our protagonist is much stronger, he still feels that, he need to protect the smile of our protagonist.
There's also other character name Yuno and Nathan. These character might get more attention once their backstory is reveal.

In my second book, a character named Noah seem to get more attention. I have a friend who I share the file of my novel manuscript. He finds Noah character interesting. He's another golden retriever in the story. He's a highschool student and have obsession to look good in front of his idol. Sometimes he tries to act cool, but sometimes the other sides of him were also present.

Noah appear in my book called, World End 000. While Kael, Yuno and Nathan appear in my book called, Lost World(former name Crescent Veil). I'll be posting edited version in both RR and Tapas soon.

(post withdrawn by author, will be automatically deleted in 24 hours unless flagged)

It would be a miracle that my comic become popular AT ALL.

It's been 4 years since making this and I kinda get the idea it would be Dart in my webcomic.

Description: In the 1800s, an unprecedented convergence of demons and humanity altered the course of history, sowing the seeds of conflict and camaraderie. Now, in the world of the 2100s, a half-demon teenager is drawn into a realm teeming with covert battles and concealed truths.

Within this intricate tapestry of magic and mystery, ancient pools of power house unrevealed potentials, ready to ignite. Accompany our enigmatic protagonist as she journeys through a world where allegiances flicker like shadows, and the distinction between friend and foe remains perpetually uncertain.

I did a small poll a week ago post season uno-> character popularity poll, and so far Bucky is the top pecker, and that makes a lot of sense. He's adorable, lovable, difficult to get mad at. It's sickening, lol! But he isn't perfect, and I think that's attractive to alot of readers.

The humans are at a tie rn, but I don't know who is gonna get top popularity in that group yet.

It's still early in my story though, and I hadn't gotten in depth with the human side of the story(more of that to humorously begin in a while), and I think by the end of it all, all my characters (major) will be loved by my little cult of fans, hehehehe.

A surprising favorite out of French Cup's cast is Hanako the Singing Flower Witch of Hokkaido. He's a drag queen who dresses like an Alphonse Mucha fairy. He's spacey, kind, and wise. My friends who read French Cup already really love him. I wonder which character will be the favorite now that I'm publishing French Cup on Tapas?

I think Bucky is your story's deuteragonist, right? Currently my deuteragonist, Kattar is the most popular character two. For some reason I feel like it's quite common in stories for the MC to not be the favorite. Not always ofc, but often.

I agree with you. Often I always liked the MC's best friend, or mentor, or sidekick more that the one the camera is always pointed on. The guy/gal/person who brings up the MC when they're down. Might be why I'm trying to be motivational and give somewhat useful advice. I might be the deuteragonist to someone out there XD.

Funny how that trend doesn't seem to apply to my own work. There the MC is seemingly the most popular, by a large margin haha.

Then again, she does have about 3 times the screen time has her co-lead

Personally I also tend to be a main character kinda guy. They're usually the most defined and fleshed out characters in any given story. That tends to make them the more compelling characters.

I agree especially in anime i'm always digging the side characters in the friend groups or sports teams and such.

This is definitely a good mentality to have. I totally agree.

I agree, but I also think some authors have a tendency to make the main character's more of cliche's because they thinks that's what people will like, and allow themselves more creativity with villains and side characters

Probably Leia. She comes across as a tough tomboy-ish girl at first glance, but there are so many layers to her emotions that I think people will really connect with and like her. They'll probably like Riley a lot too tho.

If I had to guess, I imagine the roommates would be the most well known/popular for Apparent Secrets. They include (from left to right): Iris, Zayzann, Khazmine, and Byxx.

They're the most visually striking characters in the novel, and they have such hi-jinks that I can't imagine the other characters stealing the spotlight anytime soon. :heart_03:

an edgelord janitor is definitely something interesting to me lol

Back in the old incarnation of my comic, that was Rosso. In the current version, I heard a lot of nice things about my supporting characters, Doc and Rosa, which is great, because I loved writing for both of them! In the future though, definitely Volken, he'll have his time to shine, I'm sure about that XD

In my hand, I have a story.... A tale of luckless misfits who happened to be at the wrong, wrong place... at just the right time...

LOSTLAND is a supernatural, post-apoc adventure story following the tales of four travelers and the little twists of fate that bind them both to eachother, and to one man's grand design for this new world.

Prepare for crazy humor, intense action, and a touch of mystery, all rolled into a world that changes all who travel through it. Updates every Saturday.

If you've been looking for a scifi story told in a fantastical, well crafted world, and filled to the brim with kooky, creepy and loveable characters, LOSTLAND is that comic!

I think people will fall in love with Christopher because he's adorably awkward.

Fun fact, people will probably only find your awkwardness 'cute' if you yourself are hot. fortunately he has that going for him. But readers will probably like Therese a lot too, because she's so angelic without seeming stuck up or flat as a character imao.
