Do you make Spoof or Parody Comics?

I've always loved Mad Magazine. It's a huge influence on me.

Which is why one of my comics, and the most fun to make is FANDemonium, which pokes fun at all kinds of pop culture characters.

Is your comic an out and out parody of anything? Does it encompass or spoof elements of a popular anime/manga/movie/comic/character?

My comic is what I like to call a "mostly affectionate parody of the game industry". It tells game history, various trivia/fun facts and comments on/critiques/satirizes recent news through personifications of game companies.

my comic is an affectionate parody of one particular game series - it's called A LEGEND (of some sort) and you can read the entire thing on tapastic right now!!

Yeah, I started mine for my friend's Disney Fan Site...but of course I can't use anything Disney without being sued! So I made a new "park" and have a Frankey Fox instead of Mickey Mouse character - so this way I can safely parody my heart out.

I conisdered making parody comics before, but maybe more directed towards popular webcomics here and not necessarily larger fandoms. Kind of like the tapastic version How it Should Have Ended or MAD maybe...
But I probably won't simply because I don't want to do anything that would offend the original creator (unless they were ok with it I guess)

I used to make them all the time back in high school, unfortunately, I lost them over time... But I plan to start making them again! xD
