It depends. I don’t care too much for the background musik, although nice music does help when I doodle But I’m kinda sensitive when it comes to comfort. When I write I loaf around in bed with a notebook. That way I can concentrate the best. When it comes to drawing the actual comic I really care for a good art set up, the right chair, table at the right angle, proper types of light etc.Currently I work out of my in-laws basement (yeah, full filling the millennial cliche ) and had to set up a quick art area...it’s difficult to get good results because the chair is too hard, the table too flat (still have to get a proper art table, meh) and it’s too cold down there.I already miss my art room at home
It really depends on what exactly I'm creating, and how I'm feeling that day. I usually do all my writing at my family cabin up in the mountains because it is quiet and isolated and I can't get on the internet there. It's nice. For art I'm either working with the TV on, or Youtube shows about horror stuff or true crime or mysteries. Sometimes I'll just listen to music.
For some reason the only thing I can listen to when I'm writing is really loud punk music. And I have to be listening to it in order to write, even when I'm writing really cutest stuff. My roommates hate it, but that's just a motivator XD. And I can't possibly be out in public. I tried to write on a bus but a little girl sat down next to me and I panicked bc she kept looking at meee and I swear way too much for small children
Lets not forget some nice smooth stuff like Melody Gardot!
Pssssshhhhhhhhhhhh. They'll be fine.
They probably know at least 3 more swear words than you.
