I've actually found that I prefer reading on desktop (mainly because I prefer page comics) I find myself squinting to read pages on mobile and I just prefer reading on my laptop, especially because I have a touch screen so I can just scroll like on a phonescreen but just bigger.

I know a lot of people read on mobile because they read in the infinite scroll format, but for me it's not my preferred format which is why I don't tend to read as much on mobile I guess

The only things I prefer doin on mobile than desktop is phone calls (for obvious reasons 'xD) and playing rythm games - literally the only use of touch controls I enjoy xDD

So I'd say it's kinda the other way around for me - I prefer page format over scroll, because I'd rather read on pc than mobile

If I'm catching up with a comic and there's a lot of episodes ahead of me, or if it's a gag-a-day comic that I don't really plan on commenting, I prefer reading on my mobile phone.
Comics that I'm up to date with I prefer reading on desktop, because I can see more details and also it's easier for me to comment (typing on mobiles is hell to me, I spend way too much type correcting typos)

Desktop, but im mainly at my computer most days with my own art, and i like being able to read easier with the bigger screen due to my dyslexia

I prefer desktop, I always want to see and read on a screen way bigger than what a phone could offer.

However, when I'm making a comic and I want everyone to read it, there are many readers on Tapas using the app on their phone. So, this is where I make the scroll pages and enhanced the text and I always look it up on the mobile to make sure everyone can read.

I personally read on mobile because 1) I'm used to it and 2) I consider my laptop a workspace and try not to get distracted!

I really like reading on an iPad (or similar tablet). To me, it's the best way to enjoy Tapas comics at a comfortable sort of "book" size while relaxing on a comfy chair away from my desk.

I always read on desktop or a few rare times on the ipad so its still bigger than the phone.
I too prefer traditional page comics, scroll format is mostly so frustrating to read :weary:
I have tried thinking about the mobile readers tho and adapted my font to be a bit bigger than when I started so its easier to read but I dont think Ill ever make a scroll format comic :see_no_evil:

Mobile, i like the flow of the scroll format and i have my phone with me all the time, so i can read anywhere.

I love reading on my phone (Manga and novel) except if its on the Tapas app. I hate that shit. Let me explain... I mostly read novel on tapas but the problem is the usually exiting the app when reading bcuz busy and when I get back to reading, I return to the very top page of a chapter its annoying, Huawei 'Books' app is better (where I read Mushoku), it stays where I left off and I can continue immediately instead of waste a few minutes searching for that 1 line I remembered.

also Tachiyomi app for manga/webtoon readers the best mobile app for me so far.

I usually download novels, manga, webtoon so that when I'm left with no internet I have something to do.

I typically read on my desktop, because I spend most of my day sitting in front of it anyway. But my favourite thing to read on is my iPad. Big, luscious screen, so I can properly appreciate the art, but far more ideal for scrolling, and way more immersive than a desktop.

I prefer desktop/laptop for reading most comics and even so on sites that offers double-page view. But I also like to read it on my old 6" 16:9 aspect ratio phone. (not the long-and-narrow phone nowadays) I use it for my own Tapas comic's readability preference.

Phone. I prefer page comics, which can be hard to read sometimes. But there's this great feature, where I pinch my fingers on the screen and widen them...zooming in to read closer! This is wonderful technology that people don't seem to know how to use when they complain about text being too small.

tablet or phone depending on how detailed the artwork is. I would read on desktop more often if I had a vertical monitor.

Desktop always. I'm usually in a position where I'm always near my computer, so I hardly ever use my phone.

Mobile
I work on my desktop all day. I dont wanna read on it too...

Desktop over mobile, any day of the week.

There's only one or two comics that I ever consider reading on mobile, but that's because they update at times I'm away from my desk. My phone is a nice size, on the bigger side (for a phone) even, and I still have trouble reading speech bubbles with the rest of the Tapas App UI.
Not to mention the fact that I prefer more "intense" or mature comics, which aren't always available on mobile... :sweat_02:
I don't have anything against mobile readers, obviously, it's just that mobile format just doesn't work so well for me.
