Well, in a way, we ARE the Gods of their story, aren't we? So I can, and I will, ship them with all my power. Mwahahha :imp:

Oh hell yeah I do!! It won't ever happen in canon since I'm challenging myself to not do a romance-centric story. I mean, come on. One girl who, through wacky circumstances, suddenly gets four attractive roommates? Absolute shipping fuel right there, it's kinda ridiculous.

For my actua one Die Instrumente Gottes, no I dont (adn havent done it never once for the apst 20 years but now taht Im actually drawing them -drools- well, I have had some temptations to draw them +slaps myself+ but is a BIG NO, unless is it on modern!Au setting as humans but I cant spoiler the reasons why ) +dies+

BUT

for my other story (future project) ASEDO, I ship everyone with everyone even if I have the main couple decided xD;;;

For sure!
Like I have two characters that have hooked up, but they certainly aren't meant to be in the main canon. The guy's long gone now in the story, and the girl has settled with her current two partners. But I still like drawing them together and writing interactions between them in AU pieces.

Is it bad that I've written short fanfic scenarios for my own characters for just this reason? Not to publish. Just for myself to get it out of my system. :rofl:

@Kelheor
I mean, there I am in the middle of a scene and I stop to think: "Gee, those three sure are friendlier than I had planned. Maybe ... just maybe...."

But it would completely change the character dynamic, the plot, and bust up my entire outline.

Save document, minimize it, open new document, begin the way it could go in an alternate love fest universe... :smiling_imp::joy:

I did have one like that but then all of my readers were shiping then and I started and I made it as cannon xD

YES.

I have my cannon ships all planned out, but I'm also fine with readers coming up with their own ships.

Yes. I used to draw cracky stuff of my two MCs before starting my comic, and I currently have this elaborate idea planned out for when I finish it. I want to do a big Kickstarter with the stretch goal being an exclusive crack softcore porn featuring them. Not really for horny reasons but because I want to delve into romantic relationships, sexuality and one of the characters learning/exploring healthy sex positivity, while also reclaiming their sexuality after escaping an abusive relationship. I thought it would be a fun thing for me and backers since it would be a super chill contrast to the main story, and character exploration is always fun.

Shipping while creating the main comic is strictly off limits for me though since I don't want anyone to get the idea that my comic is a romance, or that I condone the current relationships in the story.

Sometimes :point_right::point_left:

Oh definitely. :stuck_out_tongue: Sometimes they end up happening in canon, sometimes not, but I definitely think about them way too much.

Hell yeah I’m multi shiper with my own ocs lol

Absolutely!

One of the shipmates is usually a major character while the other is one of my many sacrifices (characters who are fated to disappear or die regardless of how much I like them), which makes me feel even more bad once they inevitably kick the bucket.

I don't know why I do this to myself.
