Do you sign your comics?

Do you sign your comics with your name and do you use your real name? Kinda like in newspaper comics, how the artist signed their name on the comic. Why do people put their name on Comics?

I like to put the name of my comic at the bottom, that way if someone sees outside of my page it they know what to search for.

I always put urls and a copyright mark with my name on publicly published pages. I do sign them too but I sign with my initials since that takes up less space.

And yeah I use my real name.

Yes, but it's a special space-saving one I only use for the comics. But then I come from the newspaper tradition anyway.

I'll put my name in a title/credits caption with the name of any collaborators, but the only time I ever actually put my signature on a comic is when I'm asked to autograph a printed book. Of course, not everyone does like I do, and that's fine by me. Stan Lee always signed his work on the old Spider-man newspaper strip, and it was just that which first hooked me on comics as an itty bitty.

I sign the covers and art pieces, but not comic pages. Maybe I should start doing that.

i never bothered getting into the habit when i thought/knew my art wasnt good enough to steal, and now i wouldnt know how to go about it

I sign as "Shazzbaa," which is not my legal name but is my real name.

I don't sign them, but I do include my logo and twitter handle in the bottom corner of each page.

I just use my pen name. My real name is kind of lame for a comic cover

I use my real name on the "covers" or when I'm making the actual printed edition of my comic; I want people to be able to associate my comic with ME.

I just link to my social media at the bottom. Does that count?

I just have a watermark with my username and the name of the comic usually... something with low opacity in a nice simple font.

I add a watermark in the right bottom of the page with the name of the comic and the website. I use my real name as a signature, but not my surname, and I put it only in the cover arts, not in the sequential pages.

Yeah I sign mine with my nickname. Well, not all of them, but the ones of my diary comic are signed.

I just started putting my pen name (cause I don't like my real name) on my new comic, but it's on the very bottom of the panels and could be easily cut is someone try to take it, so, it's pretty useless.
