Hmm ... now that I think about it, I might have classified some comics as having a good story not because they're 'objectively' 'well-written' good in some way, but just because I like it, because it's one of the few things in the niches I search for. But I never thought of it in terms of representation/something I 'absolutely had to read' since the stuff I look for doesn't tend to be, like, character demographics, but stuff like special interests*, ideologies, and oddly specific scenarios/mental or emotional states that aren't associated with any particular neurodivergence or other demographic group**. Basically, unborn tropes, I guess?
But yeah, wrt my previous comment in this thread, I was probably even more biased than I thought
