Do you think a silent comic would do well on tapastic?

So i have an idea for a silent comic story but im unsure how it will do among the hundreds of other comics on the site.

I could add dialog to it but it just seems like itd be out of place and a bit awkward from what i have in mind. If you know of any silent comics you can link them to me so i can see what people have been making on tapastic.

You don't have to be afraid about making a silent comic and publishing it here!

In fact, there is one very popular silent comic that I myself am a fan of.
The comic is called Stutterhug, go and search it! If that can encourage you, please
don't be afraid of starting your own silent comic and sharing it with others!

silent comics are tough man i think i did maybe 1 comic like that and then i had no idea how to continue ,if you are going to do it il deffinently sub and see how it works out for you

I think yes, if the drawings can elaborate actions pretty well. I'm an avid reader of Silent Horror and that's the best silent comic I've encountered so far.

Silent comics are great especially when it's going to highlight the actions and the expressions as well. You dont have to give a background for each just to understand a story.

You should pursue it!

ohhh yes i have a special space in my heart for silent comics. my favourite being 150 days

my advice is - be very careful about your artwork. without dialogue, that is your only tool to tell the story and everyones main focus. silent comics tend to be more - er - artsy? experiment, make it out of the box - make it nice to look at

Silent comics can totally work on Tapastic. Stutterhug is my favorite <3 and it's immensely popular.
Silent comics are also an EXCELLENT way of practicing show not tell/storytelling in comics. A lot of people underestimate how important silent comics are by letting dialogue do the heavy lifting in their comics.
Plus, they're really good for the internet because they also have the potential to reach a really wide audience (no language barrier!)

I freaking love silent comics! People often forget comics, just like movies, are visual storytelling. Movies can still work as silent types if there's a right atmosphere established, character expression, and clear direction. The same can be applied to a silent comic. I forgot what it was called, but there was a silent animal almost grungy webcomic I used to read on deviantART. The story was between a tiger and a mouse if I remember correctly. It got a healthy number of comments and feedback, and the artwork was gorgeous. i think it was done traditionally too, lots of watercolor.

I don't see a problem with it. I actually read one called Silent Horror it's one of my favorites on this site. they are hard to do, but if you do them well I think they do well.
