Do you think Webtoon is going to open a novel section for writers?

Now Wattpad is bought by the same company of Webtoon, do you think Webtoon will open a novel section for writers?
If yes, will you post your novel/novels on Webtoon and why?
If not, why?
What if the novel section is similar to the comic section/webtoon canvas series? What if they have a rating, views, and number of subscribers? Personally, if I'll post my novel and there is a rating system, I'll be really worried about it. We know that in the canvas section of comics, there are downvoting, and the comics who received low ratings often don't deserve their low rating score.
Will the rating system let you decide to stay away from posting your novel on webtoon?
I would like to read your thoughts about this.

It doesn't really make sense if the same company owns Wattpad to open up a new section on webtoons and I don't think they will merge the two because of the massive niched userbases on both. However it wouldn't suprise me if features would be shared between the two and crosspromotions might happen. (Like novels being adapted into original comics and vice versa.) So yeah, there is a real possibility of the rating feature being implemented on Wattpad. It all depends on the user base though... Wattpad is pretty competitive already from what I've seen, so I do think a rating feature would be disastrous.

Seems counterproductive as that would be a direct competitor to Wattpad and Wattpad really doesn't like those. Wattpad is also the biggest novel serialisation site currently so trying to establish a novel section on Webtoons while the same company already owns Wattpad... Nah. It wouldn't make sense.

What's more likely to happen is a merger of the two.

It's possible they could merge Wattpad into their site which honestly would be a cool idea.
