Do you write for competitions and open calls?

I personally submit to literary magazines/journals, lifestyle magazines, and writing competitions as well as posting my stories on line. Anybody else? I know a whole lot of us competed in the "True Love On Tapas Competitions" (I wrote "Damsel in the Red Dress" for the competition, and that's currently my only published novel) but other than that I mean.

If so what have you competed in or who have you submitted to? Have you won any awards or competitions or been published in any journals?

For Wriiting:
Closest Ive gotten to that as a kid was anthologies the school would publish. For short stories. No internet back then. So it was published locally and shown in school and the local library.

Currently. Soon another short story, will be in an actual book about local spooky stuff with other stories. By a local actress/person who does entertainment and broadcasting from my small home town.

For Arwork: Ranges from in person art galleries, local art shows and even online galleries a bunch of times since elementary school. Ive won a few.
