Does anyone here speak any foreign languages?

English is my second language! first is Portuguese (Brazil) and then theres also a side of Spanish

Languages spoken here: English, Italian, Spanish, a bit of French. I also studied Middle Egyptian, Latin and Ancient Greek. Alas, I have no one I can speak those languages with :/

I can understand a fair amount of German, although speaking it is another story LOL. I'm beginning to pick up some Korean from my new workplace though. Languages are rad.

Swedish is my native language, I'd say my English is fluent and I speak and write "elementary" Japanese which I studied on my own.

I took German in high school and was on my way to becoming fluent. I need to refresh some of my vocabulary, but I still remember a great deal of it. Also took Japanese in college as one of my majors in college! I'm good with languages, so hoping that I can eventually become fluent in both!

Spaniard here: I speak fluently Spanish, Valencian and English (moreso English than my mother tongue, Valencian, haha). I also read and speak Japanese semi fluently, French, and then some German. Self-taught plurilingualism, ho!

My native language is Icelandic so I'm fluent in that. I'd say my English is pretty fluent, I was forced to learn Danish and I'm ok at French.

English is my foreign language, because I speak Brazilian Portuguese.

But I prefer to write all the time in English, specially my comics. More readers, and good fonts with letters with accents are hard to find, haha.

I speak French, Japanese, and can understand German and Italian for some weird reason. Probably has to do with the whole Latin root language thing.

I speak both Filipino and English... I can't say if English really is a foreign language here in the Philippines because a) it's being taught in schools, b) a lot of people speak it (possibly even more than Filipino/Tagalog because some people don't know anything besides their non-Filipino vernacular and English), and c) it's an official language here.

I also know basic Japanese (I managed to talk to a native somehow one time) and I am also learning a bit of German, Italian, Russian (still getting used to how they spell and say things... they are so different), Korean (still learning Hangul, but for some reason, I am finding it easier to read than Hiragana, possibly because the symbols represent letters rather than syllables), and Malaysian (the common words with Filipino are amusing).

Dutch is my native language. However English isn't a strange language in Holland at all, it's been taught already when ur 6 years old.
I also know basic German , Spanish and Russian. But I'm not really doing my best to actually learn it .....
