Does one of your OCs have a mental health disorder/condition?

Aidan Carr (on the right), my protagonist for my upcoming comic story i'm writing called 'The Thin', suffers from Major Depressive Disorder for years. Isolation/being lonely makes it worse, but he gets treatment for it by taking medication and seeing his therapist, Karine Shelley. It's central to the story, as he is trying to manage between being this eerie, creepy masked vigilante The Thin in the city of Maylem and trying to heal as himself by going to therapy, in the middle of recovery.

another character named Talia Mannings (on the left), has PTSD. Aidan and Talia met in the same clinic building to seek their own treatment/therapy after many encounters coincidentally.

does any of your characters have a condition/disorder?
(this is almost based on real life experience...except the vigilante part of course lol)

Evangeline has a few things. The first one is amnesia which I technically think is a mental disorder. She's also on the spectrum, which im not really sure is a mental disorder as much as it is a biological condition. Just kinda how I see it.

Anastasia has ADHD and, at times, bipolar episodes.

Such things aren't front and centre of my comics. However, my short stories focus on that shit HEAVILY. It's basically the horror behind those things; how these things can destroy one's own life if left alone to fester.

Chapter 1's lead: PTSD
Chapter 2's lead: Anxiety & depression (caused by being a teen in an abusive household so likely CPTSD)
Chapter 3 & 5's lead: Depression.
Chapter 4's lead: (hmm. just bad self worth, I think, so yeah.)
Chapter 6's lead: Likely narcissism.

My MC's all have maladaptive coping mechanisms for what they've gone through, that have either blossomed into or worsened any mental issues they already had. What exactly they each have, I'll let the reader decide.

Both my MCs deal with mental health issues. Apollo (On the right.) has mild syllogomania and depression from loss of a loved one, who turned out to still be alive, and being kicked out of his home for being gay. Julian (On the left.) has a cocktail of psychotic depression, PTSD, anxiety and possible BPD from nearly a lifetime of instability and abuse. (Growing up in an orphanage, having bad fosters and currently being in a bad relationship.)

My comic, being a character-driven drama, focuses on these character's mental issues, their trauma, and how they ultimately learn to deal/live with those issues in healthy ways while leaning on eachother for support.

I find writing non mentally ill/neurodivergent characters to be quite hard/unintuitive, so almost everyone of some importance has something going on haha, whether from trauma or genetics or what. Gray definitely has some sort of personality disorder going on for one (or multiple). Eilise is ADHD to the max (and has other issues). etc etc etc. just, everyone's messed up and its very much a story dealing with the characters trauma.

I don't know how often things will be named, but I've semi-unintentionally written characters as having x or y just because and later canonized it, and/or wrote them with something in mind. Their issues definitely impact how they act and their choices a lot.
