Does tagging do anything?

I never tag my chapters - I don't know what to tag them with. What do you guys do? Does it make a difference at all in terms of viewership? I feel like most people find comics by browsing icons...

When people search for what kind of stuff they want to read about they have greater chance of finding your comic
I'm pretty sure how it works is that if your story is tagged "android" and someone wants to read something about androids then they will more easily find your comic when they search that word. It's about increasing the likelihood of readers stumbling on your comic.

Exactly what @marygold said. I just tag each of my updates with a bunch of stuff. I don't know if it is helping it get viewed more, but I still do it cuz you never know

Tagging your COMIC (in the same place where you pick what genre to categorise your comic as) means that it will turn up in a search for that word.

Tagging your EPISODES does literally nothing at all, those tags are not included in searches or anything else.

Yeah that's the aspect I was trying to understand, it seemed like such a strange feature.

Yep, episode tags are non-searchable.

I use my tags to tell jokes about the page I'm posting - might as well use them for something!

Oh. If the tags of episodes don't do anything, I kinda regret dutifully tagging the heck out of each of my episodes. XD
