Does the green flag on webtoon means that the comic is getting featured?

Honestly I am still confused about how to know if my webtoon is getting featured. Do i get featured if i reached 1k/green flagged? Or if only my webtoon is on the front page? Do we get paid if we reach 1k?

Sadly no.
It just means that you reached 1000 subscribers. It's a sign to other readers, who stumble over the icon, that you already have a fair following and it (hopefully) motivates them to read your comic and perhaps also subscribe to it.

What @bear1 said, yes. After reaching 1k, you will get the green flag indicates you have over 1,000 subscribers. I'm sure around 2k sub is when Webtoon will start sending you automatic email to congratz on your sub gaining. If your story is picked for feature, Webtoon will surely email you privately to talk about it to take care of all the contracts and all that jazz.
