I came up with an idea that I want to turn into a story
There are two girls named Xena and Serai, ...Xena is a black woman with brown skin and long braided hair, Xena has yellow eyes that glows when she is angry and Serai is a white blonde woman who's body emits energy when she gets excited. Both of them are friends, both are 23 years of age and they don't fully understand that they have powers/special abilities.
The thing about my idea is that Serai and Xena will meet people from other planets who have similar abilities as them, so would that make it sound like Serai and Xena have alien roots?
I don't want it to sound like they have alien roots, they are suppose to be purely human with mutated genetics.
Also what kind of dynamic between Serai and Xena would interest you?
