He would be a mixed shepherd dog or some sort, breed is not important. Even better if it is from unknown pedigree/mongrel, that is the point.

Borzoi. Aside that the fact he is half-Russian, being a speedster hunting dog kinda suit him.

In the earlier version of the series, he actually shape-shifted into a doberman. The breed also kinda suited his role.

Middle is literally part Pyrenean Mountain Dog and part mountain goat.

Two reasons.
She is from the mountains.
And...
She is based off a past relationship I had with a tall girl who owned two Pyreneans. They were all awesome.

Nice. I first saw a Great Pyrenean Mountain Dog at a petting zoo once hanging out next to the sheep. They were nigh indistinguishable from each other. XD

Agony - Chihuahua
Agony actually gets compared to a dog a lot. I think of her as a formerly caged Chihuahua that's seen some stuff. Like the Chihuahua she fights like a dog twice her size and barks like a dog four times her size.

Thesis - Mastiff
Big sleepy looking boy who is described as "docile and dignified but also a formidable protector of those they hold dear" But I mostly chose this because their faces remind me of him.

Duenna - Saluki
I googled "Posh dogs" and the description of this one just is her whole character: "graceful, very loving, and good with kids. They can have a stubborn streak, though"

Motif - Dachsund
Originally bred for serious work but over time just got to be known for looking ridiculous and being used for stupid Sh$# like this:

Sequel - Golden Retriever
Three reasons:
1. they are very tied to movies, and so is he
2. They are companion dogs and Sequel is forever Motif's companion

Yeah, I love how elegant the Borzoi can look one moment and then how utterly goofy they can look the next. It's an amusing contrast.

My mom however, feels very weirded out by them for soem reason.
