Without a doubt, Dragonball Z Kai. It was one of the coolest things my little boy eyeballs had ever seen at that point.
I had a similar experience back when I was reading the Buffy the Vampire Slayer 2019 comic reboot and I was really diggin’ the artwork by Dan Mora, but around issue 5 they got some new dude on board and I just wasn't vibing with the art style shift.
