Doing ads/ making money with Tapas..?

So I’ve been hearing about Tapas having a program where you basically can make money with ads, tipping and things of that nature. Is anyone here a part of the program or have experience with it?

I know it’s obviously not a lot of income you make but I’m curious about the process and like approximate information of these things if anyone knows

Hopefully someone can help me out ~

Opt into if you can, as long as you don't have a fanfic!
Doesn't hurt to have a way of earning a little extra money, especially since you don't really have to do anything extra for it.

I basically make pennies a year from ads with 1k subscribers.

But something like $25 every six months from fan tips.

You have to have at least 100 subs to activate ad revenue for your series, 250 for tips. My artist and I have been on Tapas for about a year, have about 1.6k subscribers between a few different series, and to date we've made... $6.50 from ads, lol. Quite a bit more from tips, thanks to the December tipping event, but overall don't expect to make money from Tapas unless you're premium. I have no idea what those kinds of numbers are like.

Rather than making much money from Tipping or Ad revenue, most people use it to gather an Audience and then redirect them to Crowdfunding/Patreon to create some kind, or even in some cases their main income.
I think Premium Series depend on their Audiences just as much as normal onces, only that they have it easier to make money and are promoted more (in most cases).

Forbes reported that one Premium creator on Tapas made $250,000 in 2017.
