Apologies ahead of time if this is a question that's been asked a bunch already (I took a brief look before typing this up, but didn't find anything).

So I don't really promote my webnovel/ongoing serial, and when I do update it, I usually gain like...maybe 5-6 views per update at most. And that's totally cool! I'm more or less writing it for me. Anyway, I updated earlier today, came back onto Tapas to check out something that I'm subscribed to, and found that within a few hours I'd gained 110+ views. W-what. What's happening here? Are bots a thing on Tapas? I'm just a bit flabbergasted right now over the concept that this happened organically.

I didn't see any spike on my stuff. That'd be really nice though! Hey Tapas did you bring enough views for the whole class? Can we all get a viewership spike?
Sounds like it was just one of those things man, some days you just get an influx for one reason or another. It's a :sparkles: mystery! :sparkles:

That said, it would be extremely helpful to have some kind of analytics within tapas to help us track where our traffic comes from. Then we could be much more efficient at targeting our advertisement instead of spamming the forums with promotional posts

Ugh, being able to track traffic sources would be so good! But what a weird thing. I GUESS I'LL TAKE THE W and try not to COMPLAIN :weary: lol

I binge-read when I have the time, so maybe you have a binge reader, or readers, in this case. Or perhaps tapas featured your web novel somewhere. Anyways, congratulations!
