I decided to get two birds stoned at once and did First Snow and Sledding in one. Of course I'm a gay gearhead and can't do normal sledding, so I've got Daecon and Evander dashing through the snow in style.

If Evander looks like he's absolutely terrified it's because he's absolutely terrified. Being a shapeshifter he has never had any need for human transportation machines and this is his first time even sitting on one, much less driving it. Daecon is also a shapeshifter, but he grew up among humans and, like me, is a gearhead. He loves sledding!!!

Ok, I put a lot of work into this one. This is the first full-boat sequential comic strip I've drawn since the mid 1990's. I am literally lying here fighting COVID as I just applied the finishing touches.

Behold, Finding Daecon's Way presenting "Snow Angels". Imma upload it panel-by-panel so the forum doesn't render it unreadable. This strip has my new favourite drawing of Evander (first panel, I just love how full of positive energy he is).

So sweet to see Doc Fowler without his mask, and Smultz without hers (and each holding the other's). So vulnerable.

But who are those humans running in the background?

The humans are Angel(little girl in previous pics, and her adult brother Luke. I was too lazy to finish coloring so i just colored their sweaters for STYLE!

And Friar was totally trying to avoid that kiss XD

Also, dang, there's a lot of white/gray in that one. Kinda burned out today.

Gingerbread!

Gosh, three more days to Christmas! Got one more! Maybe two...

That would be me, breaking out the Erector Set and creating a whole construction zone around a gingerbread house. This, of course, after proper permits were pulled, an environmental impact assessment was completed, tenders being called for the foundation and excavating, etc…

Rather bold of Bucky to be eating that gable end with Gallus sitting right there. Hopefully he won’t puke it back up in Gallus’ face when he’s confronted!

Might I suggest adding an extra layer of light on this piece, illuminating the shadows cast on the characters. The snow is highly reflective and will bounce the sunlight back up, illuminating the shadowy parts of the characters, serving a 2nd light source

I actually put boucelight in all my works these days. Helps characters pop and gives them a sense of being present in the scene
