This is for my fellow artist who excel at drawing backgrounds, scenery, and as the title says, cityscapes.
What is your process?
How do you go about coming up with and creating each building, their size, spacing, colors, shadows, reflections, what brushes and tools do you use and/or recommend, etc.
And to get more specific. How would one go about drawing futuristic/dystopian cityscapes?

Lastly, what would be a good place for someone at a beginner-intermediate level when it comes to drawing scenery to start with the process of improving?
For context, I have a tone of experience drawing people due to that being the primary thing I draw, so while I'm fairly decent (though with room still for improvement in some areas) other things such as scenery, animals, vehicles, etc. i find are much more difficult for me to draw and often the quality of work I am able to produce when it comes to those things versus drawing people leaves much to be desired.
The main area I struggle with is perspective (chalked up to me not taking the proper time to practice perspective outside of art class in the past) and getting the proper sizing and spacing for my structures.
