What drawing courses did you do? What were your experiences? Would you recommend it?
Do you have a daily drawing warm up?
I have a daily drawing warm up which I attached, it changed over the last years, at the moment it is
a lot of shapes in 3d, straight lines, all drawn without the use of a ruler and mannequins. It takes almost
one hour to finish the warm up.
My first course was from toonbox company, it´s good for people who are just starting, no anatomy skills needed
and it´s good for people who just started drawing in general and started digital drawing. It was not expensive and
I found it through youtube
I tried Drawabox 3 times and I always stopped when it comes to drawing texture, I´m at that point again and I probably
quit again because I hate that part and I don´t want to continue without finishing it. The rest of the first lessons is great
though, I recommend everyone to do at least the lessons until the 250 boxes challenge, it will change your drawing life.
The guy who produces the videos and the homepage put a lot of effort into it and it´s all for free. I hope I can manage
to get through the texture lesson this time
I have all Proko classes. The free videos on youtube are already good enough, I only bought the classes to have them
in a better order. Proko is tough, especially when you are not able to draw shapes in perspective yet, it´s on a high level
but also presented very good. It´s expensive but worth it. I think I need at least 4 years to get through the courses.
I recently joined art wod, it´s 15€ a month and I love the course, it´s all based on shapes in perspective and the classic
concepts of Loomis, Riley etc
I´m looking forward to read your reviews of courses and to read about your warm ups, maybe I get some new
inspirations
