What? A promo thread I haven't posted in?

If you haven't check out Elf Noir, my gritty urban gangland fantasy noir tale of murder, mystery, magic and revenge. Updates Tuesdays and Saturdays.

As an enforcer for Jet, a petty elven crime boss, Arq has it better than most in Elftown, the prisoner of war slum of a human city. It's violent work, but it provides him with a little more money than he needs to survive, a little status, and a little free time.

When a prostitute under Jet's protection is brutally murdered, Jet sends Arq and a team of enforcers - including his creepy, ambitious rival; Jet's dangerously alluring girlfriend; and a chatty dwarf-of-all-trades - to find the killer and make an example of him. But when they uncover the dark reason for the murder, events spiral out of control.

To avenge a friend's murder, Arq must contend with betrayal, warring crime bosses, deadly monsters, underground plots, and forbidden magic that, if discovered by the humans, will send a red tide of death through Elftown. His greatest challenges, though, will be grappling with his own bitter, violent nature, and trying to figure out what it means to be an elf in a place where the humans have taken away everything that makes life worth living for elvenkind.

Tension rises in Chapter 2 as our heroes are on the brink of revolution,

Love the dynamic between the two main characters and how they contrast with each other,

Well, this is awkward...Some of you might have noticed that Gamers Guff has disappeared from my page.

Unfortunately, Tapas has removed it due to Copyright issues,

I am taking the actions needed in order to get it reinstated and up and running again,

Until then, there won't be any Gamers Guff comics to enjoy.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

GAMERS GUFF IS BACK FOLKS

Wow, this has been a scary week,

In case you guys weren't aware, Gamers Guff was taken down due to Tapas's Copyright Policy.

Thankfully, they've given me a chance to make some necessary changes and get the series reinstated,

This took a long while, to say the least, but it was worth it in the end,

You probably may or may not have noticed some of the changes made already, and it might look a little awkward, but it was necessary to get my boys back on Tapas again.

What made this a scary experience for me was seeing all of you wonderful subscribers disappear from my page as a result. I've worked hard to get this far on Tapas and I wasn't prepared to start again from scratch. Now that you're all back, you hold a very special place in my heart now.

I'm back on track, and I'm ready to rock the world with everything that Drew Stadium has to offer,

Thank you all for being there for me through thick and thin,

I wasn't aware of any copyright issues, but good to hear you got it sorted out. I can only imagine how awful it would have felt to permanently lose a comic that you've been working on for years. Good thing it didn't come to that and you got it all taken care of.

There are elements similar to Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings.

But at the same time, you can get the sense that something new is being done with these familiar plot elements. This can be shown by the unique world-building as well as the art style used here.
