Dumb question but if I made a discord server would anyone join it

sorry for asking this but I kinda wanted to make a tapas discord server of my own (and yes I know there already are many), but I don't know if anyone would join it, and I'd need someone trustworthy to help make it. let me know what you think I guess..

I literally just made it so I'm sorry it doesn't look good at all yet. I'll need an admin to help me name it and fix it up

Question, if you know there is one why make one? Unless its for a specific community or something. All you're doing is just adding more tiny inactive discord servers for Tapas. Join one that already exists and try to make it more lively if anything. Wanting to be in charge isn't a good enough reason and even if people join it'll become inactive in a while.

I’d actually love to join it. Smaller discord’s are a lot less intimidating, and currently I only ever found one which has an expired link & no one’s posting a new one.
If you’re up for the job, going to keep it active with chatting, writing/art challanges, etc. I think it’s a good idea!
Don’t be too discouraged by the comment above, haha. Even if it does some inactive for whatever reason, it’s not like it’s harmful or takes away resources? Making it literally harms no one.

From the many discord servers I peeked into, most of them just slowly die due to obscurity, very few (random) members, and lack of activity.

This shouldn't stop you from creating a server though. Create one if you really want it, just make it lively and active.

That's odd. Is there a reason you didn't feel welcome? If it's some kind of behaviour then you should try to filter it out.

And I'm not trying to discourage, rather, I want you to make sure you've really thought about why you want to make this. Small discords easily fall into inactivity. You'd have to put in a lot of work to keep it alive.

Discord is a messaging app; kind of like skype.
Servers in it are group chats, usually they’re large groups (50,100,300 people or more) which are made under a specific topic (like comics).
