Hello everyone! I have a Patreon page for my comic and I'v always wanted to offer early access, however I'm kinda unsure because my comic is in a webtoon format, every episode is fully coloured and is pretty long, up to around 20+ panels (Link to my comic12 if you'd like to see how the episodes are)
I'm kinda worried the pages are too long to be posted on Patreon? I have another option of offering half the episode maybe? and if I do decide to post them what reward tear should they be on?
(I update it almost weekly so early access will be like one week ahead.)
I also know Tapastic might be doing the early access thing on the app? but I feel like it's weird to offer it on Tapastic but not to my patrons...

I hope my post is clear, any opinions, suggestions or even if you have experience posting comics on Patreon it would be most helpful, thanks!

I would do what @joannekwan said, just post it on Tumblr and give them the password to see it. You can make a separate blog linked to your main account only for your pages accessible only to patrons and change the password every week or so (we all know people love to share passwords. How many people do you share your Netflix with, btw? haha).

As for the reward tier, it's really up to you. Personally I would do it at $5 because I do one page a week, but 20 panels plus the extra work of having the Tumblr open plus changing the passwords weekly plus letting everyone know the new password, I would place that reward on the $10 or higher.

@joannekwan ah that sounds like such a great idea thank you! It'l be much neater on somewhere like Tumblr.

@mrjonzap Thank you for your feedback and yeah I'd probably have to change the passwork a lot if I do go with tumblr, it sounds like the best idea so far though!
Hmm I'm not sure about anything beyond $5 honestly, $10 feels like a lot for just early access?

True... but I live in NYC lmao! My $10 is the equivalent of $5 everywhere else hahahaha... aah (cries evertim)
