Good day
This is a press release statement in commemoration of Hawk and Flo's 'Ice Cream Truck Of Doom' storyline meeting it's conclusion. This blog is to inform everyone of what will be happening with me and my series going forward.
Hawk and Flo Adventures isn't really a webtoon, it was envisioned as a TV series that was then adapted into graphic novel storylines. March 1st 2024 is the first time that a Hawk and Flo Adventures storyline has been finished since the physical draft of Last Space Wizard in 2020. Unlike Last Space Wizard which ended up being cancelled with the majority of people never having read it. ICTOD has been concluded within an online environment. So I feel it best to explain what is going to happen in this blog.
Around December of 2023 I came to the conclusion that whilst I am 100% down with making comics every single week and getting the rush of uploading my stuff online for everyone to read. There were times where it understandably got tiring. ICTOD was uploaded weekly non stop for a year straight barring my old Laptop dying I had very few breaks. Going forward I will be making two other comics, Thirley Peak and Phantom Force 3000. I can handle the workload it is not a problem but I understand that I need to start pacing myself better and make an effort to be more time efficient. The latter is the reason why Duck and Comic Fury have been getting bigger pages and fewer uploads throughout the week. It's the same amount of content but I save a lot of time not updating every day, as a result every site will be getting the same upload schedule going forward. It will give me extra time to make Phantom Force 3000 and will in general be more efficient for me.
When I say I can handle 3 comics, what I mean to say is 'I could' handle 3 comics if I had my original schedule, but due to the fact I would have been the only person showing up for my Tuesday painting Night classes. I've taken the decision to do the Day classes until the Night class comes back. This is why even though Phantom Force 3000 is ahead of schedule, Thirley Peak and Hawk and Flo Adventures were forced to be uploaded a day later than their usual time slots this week due to the fact that I rely on Tuesdays to get Thirley Peak finished. The Painting day class is longer than the night class and as a result I don't have as much time to work on comics. That being said over December I decided to introduce a policy for all 3 of my comics and that is this. Whenever a comic's storyline is concluded, the comic in question will go on a small Hiatus. Regardless of how many comics I work on, I felt it a good idea to go forward with this new policy. Especially since The Next Hawk and Flo Adventures storyline is going to involve me drawing in a different art style and draw characters I don't have the muscle memory for drawing yet. It will be a crossover with Space Pack by Sefra 14 and I want to make sure I can do the best job I can for both of us ^^.
So yes Hawk and Flo Adventures will be back on April 1st There will be a Q and A in the meantime if anybody has any questions they would like to ask me feel free to do so! ^^; Stay safe everyone :). Thank you for being apart of this wonderful journey!
