Hi everyone!
There’s a thought that doesn’t leave my head. Am I the most and only one perverted person here???
Lemme explain where did this come from.
I'm writing mature novels. I started writing after reading some on my local fan & original fiction website. And from what I saw there, I assumed that it’s okay to like NSFW, that I’m not the only one, that we all people, young adults and more adult, we all need some spicey stuff to function properly. I’m not particularly into physical relationships, but this doesn’t prevent me from liking rather more explicit and sometimes kinkier romances that fire up my blood and brains. I mean... I hope you know what I mean) My place is where they bonk
And here I am on Tapas… with my very-NSFW-to-be novel (the plot comes first but also some hot scenes with detailed descriptions are on the way), and I don’t see quite a response. Okay, perhaps it’s kinda too early, I’ve started publishing a year ago or so, but… this may not be relevant if nowadays people don’t want that kind of content.
I see many creators online suffer from the social reaction to their creations. And I’m not talking about extreme or triggering stuff. If you draw NSFW and if god forbid it’s an lgbt+ nsfw [of a less popular ship] – you’ll be shamed, hated, spammed with threatening DMs and publicly lynched.
Back to the point.
I write boys' love novels with a portion of sexual content for 8 years already. It has great demand here, in my country and a few neighboring countries where people speak the same language. Yet, I’m still failing to understand, IS IT IN DEMAND globally? Should I continue with my ongoing novel? And after that, should I start working on completed novels to have them in English and introduce them to the world? Or the sensually friendly audience is really becoming extinct??? (A sad antiutopian reality if it’s the future we’re heading for )
So just give me a nod if you still exist, the readers I am crafting for!
Give me a nudge if you are a fellow NSFW writer/artist and have experienced a better response with your work(s) so I wouldn’t lose hope in humanity))) And show me what you’ve got
Sharing is caring and I deeply care for all of you!
