hello.... I'm urgently looking for any Indonesian creator, who has or had experience working with Indonesian webcomics platform... the one with the pink and white logo... i think they're unrelated with this webcomics app, but they do have similar names so i'm posting here. there are a few things i would like to ask, so if you have experience with them, please dm me.... i don't know where else to ask this, i'm sorry and thank you.

Might be better to do it's own thread. night catch the right person better.

Sorry D: I didn't mean to make to feel guilty at all. To me it just appeared like you told Bobby to drop the comic, that's why I felt your comment was rude.

9 days later

Hmm, never heard about them. I checked out the link you've posted and... aw, it's massive for manga. AGAIN I felt pretty discouraged to try something there.
But I wish everyone who will try this host the best of luck  Go for it, guys!

(P.S.: I love manga, I just don't use this style anymore).

They took Oddly Vanilla ....they'd LOVE you!

I saw Oddly Vanilla in their catalog. I browsed a lot of comics over there and yours was the only one with a Western style. It makes you a winner in that place, because you're the exception to the rule

I read in some place I can't recall that they don't allow NSFW comics. Is it true?

That now makes me wonder what style Hue Are You is concerned

And I haven't seen any NSFW comics there myself.

Are they on the Passion side of the site? I tend to stay on the Adventure side.

Yes, they allow NSFW, cencored.
I also didn't thought they would, I submitted my SFW comic, which was accepted but then I was asked if I would publish my other comic there too. I said it's NSFW, but I was told that if it's cencored it's ok.

I am currently redrawing the first few chapters of my comic with hopes of getting on their app. I probably won't get it but I figured I would try anyways. I submitted a different comic but still haven't heard back on that one. Anyone know how long they take to evaluate?

I was action side and they took about a month. They may take a bit longer right now as they are 1. overwhelmed with stuff and 2. They are taking turns going on vacations.
I heard anything on passion side might take 2 months.

Anyone has success applying to them without sending files but just a link to your webtoon?

I've been publishing under WebcomicsApp non-exclusively for over abt 1yr now? (i was one of the earlier OG contributors when they started) and it's been a good experience so far. The editors are really nice and lax if you have problems or need to call for a hiatus. Lately with the mass influx of new creators coming in, competition's grown and the rankings change a lot per week. So if you stay within the top 300 ranking, yes you do get paid. But much like Tapas ink I think, your payment (based on ranking stat) is accumulated and must reach a certain amount before it can be forwarded to you. So yes, it's a great opportunity to join, but know the fine print, do your research, and make sure it's the right platform for you.

If there's any questions that not otherwise already answered in this thread, feel free to hit me up! I'd be happy to answer ^v^

i just noticed something and i'm... quite confused?

This is a premium Tapas comic with paid episodes after EP6, and yet it showed up on WebComicsApp

HOWEVER....

on desktop i had access up to EP20 for free. But on app they're locked behind a paywall after EP6

i'm no expert but i'm pretty sure exclusivity deals don't work that way, lol.
am i missing something...? what's going on?

I'm betting someone doesn't know because webtoons is very tight with their control. You can't public online for a few years after. If you know who the person is you might wanna let them know....
