most probably! I asked them just to have an idea, anyways! ^-^ it's good for all of us, its what matters the most! ^^

12 days later

hey did you ever get a reply back from them, i asked them what the increase would be, i have an exclusive series on thier with them as well, but they never told me how much the increase would be

They like to schedule it out so that they can promote the heck outta your comic the first few weeks without competing with other new comics.

Hello!

Yes, they assured me the increase will happen, but just told it will be soon, without a date. In my opnion they might be preparing everything with the shareholders, payment bills, etc,, along with working in the series. Those money things are complicated and suddenly increased transatiions might get bank companies suspicious, what is bad for us, specially. That is why I'm letting them take their time to organize this!

  1. there's a little magnifying glass at the top right of the screen which will send you to the search function when you click it

  2. the site isnt free-to-post, you need to get through a selection process. if your comic was approved, you'll get a person to email with your finished pages every week/month/whatever and they do the posting for you. not sure why it's done this way but I guess it works?

  3. they don't have a description portion (like tapas/webtoons) so technically, no. however you could add a picture with your info to the bottom of your page / your update, or comment on your own comic with links to your social media.

re:#2 everyone within the database kind of "competes" to be in the top 300 all of which get paid.
generally speaking you dont get paid to post on tapas or webtoons either, so the only real difference is that you need to go through a selection process? (its not like the content needs to only be posted there)
i think for a lotta comic creators its just about having access to that watcherbase, same way itd be to post in any other place.

but yeah thats totally cool? i dont think that like.. a week is that much, since they have to manually go through a lot of comics all the time but thats rly up to you

Just to clarify one point, you can promote your links (talk to them first is best, but you def can).
I have a section at the end where I promote my Patreon and Instagram. Those contain links to webtoon and Tapas. It definitely brings in some readers ;D Though you can´t trust your numbers on the site itself tooo much.

A question regarding submitting -

Does this mean you should upload the split version of your updates? Or send them an unsplit full episode? My prologue I'd submit to them is about 40 panels, while my regular episodes are 25-30. Wasn't really sure if I send them that huge single file or split in advance? ^^;
Answers appreciated! <3

Unsplit multi panel eps is fine. They get a 25+ panel one from us every week. that they split up and do themselves.

1 month later

it’s not a free-to-post site, you need to submit your work to the editors and they post it for you if your work is accepted

Hello Folks,
Did you receive the new Plan that was sent by E-mail today? What do you think of it?
I felt it was a bit confusing at first glance (distinction between challenger and credit, for example).
I would like to discuss it with you Guys! I think it has some potential, though. I´ll be reading it more focussed later on.

i got it too and unless i'm missing something between the lines, idk why would anyone take the Challenger over the Credit offer? What's the catch??

also yes i think this is a step in the right direction. about time they introduce the ad rev : >

I really loved it!! nothing to complain, till now, except that I wish the views could be all of them, not only US views, but well, seems this is like the trend xD

@Rosso I think the Challenger is for people to update freely, without receiving compensation. Credit is like a step later, when you gather more audience... just like in webtoons canvas, perhaps? its what I got!

Hmmm from what I understand Credit is only good if you get at LEAST 30K views a month, we only get 10K so we'd get nothing unless taking that would get us extra boosts by the editor team.

Challenger gets us some money, but its only ad rev

Debating what I'm going to do, so I'm getting clarification

Are you asking about what editorial support means exactly? That confuses me

I reread the thing before I sent anything. It looks like that if you are on that program, if you exceed their update guidelines you will get promoted more
