Not fantasy names, but rather Brazilian names -- I see that foreigners have a hard time pronouncing those, so here's a pronunciation guide!
Samuel da Costa Mendes
Our protagonist. He has a fairly straightfoward and easy to pronunce name, but you might want to pronunce the "sa" in a shorter, quicker way than it is done in English.
sa-MU-el
Lázaro Almeida dos Ares Assunção
The "á" in the first name shows which syllable must be stressed, but other than that, fairly similar to Lazaraus. Almeida and Ares are fairly straightfoward to pronounce, but Assunção gets fairly trick: "ç" and "ã" are a nasal sound -- think of is as a "ss" sound and a "am" sound. Now say it all together. a-SUN-saum. The "sun" is more similar to "son" however.
LA-za-ro
Maria
Fairly different from the English Mary. You want to say MAH-ria instead of MEH-ria like you in English, as if you were saying "master" instead of "meter".
Gabriela
The feminine form of Gabriel, however it shouldn't be pronounced with an English accent. English speakers first instinct is saying GUEH, but you want a GAH more similar to "gamble" without the M.
