Never read the manga, but watched the hell out of the anime. I just hated all the filler storyarcs/episodes(the Bounts, the Bakoto, the zanpakuto taking form of a being, the dude with the time altering blade/scythe, the supposed 1st substitute soul reaper- the last one really irked my nerves coz I felt Ichigo was all out of character). The vizard story was okay...

Just gimme the stories leading to the Sokyoku/Aizen traitor storyarc, the Hueco Mundo/Storyarc, the battle in Karakura Town, and the Hogyoku ending(though I felt the ending REALLY fell short- I wanted an long EPIC battle between Ichigo and Aizen).

Like I was saying on Twitter- though I felt Bleach had become somewhat stagnant, I wished they would have given him a little more of a time frame deadline to end the story.

Didn't say all series were innocent of it. I mean Pokemon exists, and Dragonball is still going. Boruto though I would count as more of a sequel, which a lot of series can get/have gotten, not just Naruto. I meant closer along the lines of not letting it have an ending by never finishing, and over-saturating the franchise with a million different versions of it via 'alternate dimension' 'reboot' 're-imagining' 'retelling' 'revival' 'cross over' excreta that many American franchises get put through.

As someone who kept up up early with the manga and...with much unfortunate points...kept up with it until the end. Yeah Bleach isn't good. There was a time, very long ago during things like the Soul Society Arc where things were good and even points like Hueco Mundo were at least entertaining.

Once you got to the Fake Karakura Arc and the idiocy with Aizen and stuff...everyone could see the drop in quality. When we got to the Fullbringers, it hit a level it could not get back up from. I think a lot of us agree that out of all the parts in the manga, this is where it fell hardest.

I do think the 1,000 Year Blood War had some good potential but it just went nowhere. Kubo's terrible pacing and just lack of good story telling hurt it. So now we got this obviously rushed, hardly planned, Deus Ex Machina ending. People blame Shounen Jump for axing the series but...you can't really blame them.

Both Naruto and One Piece have consistently sold millions of volume copies and let's be honest, One Piece might be even more popular now than it's been before. Even with all the issues Naruto faced, it still kept in the game. Whether or not you like current Bleach, one can't deny the huge drop in sales.

Where as Bleach used to sale millions of copies just like the previous 3, it kycjt to make half as much now a days. A decent number in an overall sense, but a massive downgrade to what it was preforming before and performance Shounen Jump just wasn't going to have.

Even though bleach is one of my favorite series and inspires me with my own art and stories, I gotta say the last year of Bleach has been a fucking mess, and of course ended in a train wreck. He wasted way, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY(13 FUCKING CHAPTERS**=3 MONTHS**) Too long on a fight against a...giant hand. As well as some thor looking cunt who couldn't die because... reasons(plot). I can see this turning into a rant so yeah lets do this.

Kubo can set things up pretty good this last Arc started amazing and then immediately dipped back into mediocrity the second Byakuya was still alive after becoming molded into a wall like clay.
His character arc came full circle, he passed the torch onto ichigo to protect soul society and it was assumed he died... couple chapters later NOPE!

GONE=Great character development for Rukia.

The Bankais were cool though, especially Urahaha's. Unohanas nobody knows wtf that does or did. Kyorakus was an even bigger disappointment than this last chapter, despite being hyped up to be one of those, fuck everything for the next 12 miles kind of things.

In the end I'm kinda pissed, because now we'll probably never know whether or not Urahara, Yoruichi, her brother, Grimmjow or Nel died.

Even more so seeing as how Harribel was shown to be some sort of sex slave that was never mentioned again after she was shown off.(Fucking Kubo)
I guess one last thing, I like how Orihime had the potential to be the strongest character in the series if not most fiction, but she was jobbed and given the role of LOOK AT MY TITTIES KUROSAKI KUUUUUUUUNNNN~ THEY'RE SO BIG RIGHT?! OH MY THEY'RE ALMOST POPPING OUT OF IT OH NO! ...fucking seriously kubo?
Love Kubos art and character designs though. If anything thats one of the gretest things about bleach is seeing his art develop these last 15 years.

Ichigo didn't fool him, the villain just fooled himself since he saw a vision of the future of how ichigo would defeat him while sleeping, so he took it as a dream and ichigo didn't fight him alone, he partnered up with Aizen and Uryuu(in his case its mostly because his father found a way to shut down the villains power for an instant that provided ichigo an opportunity to escape a deadly attack from the villain and also bought him some time for him to be able to get back him weapon that the villain broke out of his arm)

WHAT DO YOU MEAN TOO ANALYTICAL??? I'm just pointing out the HUGE flaws the franchise has! And I'm not the only one, apparently. And that's a stupid way to kill the last bad guy, that is the quintessential cop out. If he saw a vision of his death why didn't he change it because, you know, THAT'S HIS POWER I.E. WHAT MAKES HIM SO INVINCIBLE?? It was all just packaged with a pretty bow on top so our best buddy Strawberry could once again save the day when no one else could.

I guess to each their own. Bleach is definitely an example of how not to tell stories, unless you want a dick-ton of plot holes, poor character development, predictable story lines, and an unoriginal story everyone has already seen done better.

But back on the topic. I have never been able to get into Bleach. With the hype around the series and how much more popular Bleach is in the states compare to like One Piece (my favorite series from the 3 bigs), I tried to give Bleach a try. But alas I watched till episode 10 and I just had to drop it because I couldn't click with it. Not saying I hate the series, it has its charm, but not the sort of charm for me.

Bleach to me is just meh and alright in general. But I have to give the series credit, there is a reason it becomes one of the big 3 and was popular from all the way back then. @mrjonzap I can see you really don't like the show LMFAO Just remember, you're bashing Bleach to a Bleach fan and a fan just does what a fan does, they will defend their favorite series; so don't get too worked up about it

Yup I can feel you man! I was also one of those shonenjump fanboys when I was a shonen (lol) Those giants introduced me on anime and manga, every episode of the series always gave me bursts of imagination, but as I got older and learned more on creating Manga somewhat I saw One Piece, naruto, Bleach and well Fairy tail (gooood Fairy tail ugh!) they were all stale! And that's being extra kind with words.

And Look at the ending of Bleach, I just got this feeling it was streamlined, or worse it got axed by the voting system in shonenjump. I mean, Tite Kubo said bleach was still half of its story back in the aizen arc (if anyone believed that though) and here we are abruptly ending it. I didn't mean to rant though xD I'm a fan of bleach too but Bleach wasn't suppose to go this long in my opinion and Kubo might have just over extended it.

hahaha, yeah, well, that's why I am excluding myself from this narrative now. It is what it is, and what it is is a shitty story. But I mean, don't even get me started on the fanbase lmao! I am a huge Harry Potter fan but that doesn't stop me from looking at the series objectively (like the whole Snape is good/bad debacle), unlike the Narutards and the Bleach fans I used to fight every day of high school because the anime sucked balls hahaha. Oh well!

But anyway you can bash Bleach, I have no qualms after all it is just a manga and its not like they paid me for reading the manga n stuff. I just feel that I should at least defend the mangaka's hardwork because no matter how much it seemed bad to some guys, it's still time, energy and power he put into drawing the series and it just seems wrong for someone to just talk bad about someone else's hard work. @phenomenom9 I am absolutely not bashing Bleach, I am merely criticizing it, because that's what art is for, no? I gave him lots of praise for his character design (so have many people here) but I do hold him in contempt for his story writing techniques, which are very poor. I couldn't care less how much time and effort goes into a project, if it fails, it fails, if it's bad, it's bad. I'm sure Kubo doesn't give a fuck about the trolls, he made his millions off of a mediocre story that got blown up because weeaboos and fan boys all over the world didn't want to realize that the story lacks essence, so why should he care?

This is why I can't talk to Narutards or Bleach fans about their shows because they have their heads so far up the creator's ass that any little critique comes off as "bashing the anime/manga" or trolling. But anyway, to each their own, shitty stories will never stop making money (look at Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey).
